What has happened to the quality in this thread?

I agree with U SquirrelMeat but your sense of humour is very funny and smart and hard to match. That's the Ultimate compliment. The quality of the post of the lack of quality reflects the hard to obtain combination of wit and intelligence and humour. That's my honest opinion. Your avatar is hilarious. Props to the Squirrel

You had to know that this thread would receive some negative comments. Some people actually enjoy the threads you mentioned, while others believe in giving all Prince fans free speech on this board. It's one thing to be upset about offensive threads that cross the line, but the mods do a good job of locking and removing such threads. Also, just because someone starts a thread pertaining to Prince's physical appearance, it doesn't make them shallow. There are many aspects of Prince to enjoy, as he has built himself into the ultimate entertainer. His appearance is all part of his image, and he has many sexy photos to show for it.

I understand frustration with redundancy, but there are many topics that have been beaten to death here. The best way to counteract this is to create unique and interesting topics. With no breaking news in the Prince world, it's difficult to do at the moment. Just wait until the new project hits. You'll get a front page full of locked posts redirected to one gigantic sticky instead.

Billiantly put. Much better than I could. However, I starting to think that the problem is not the thread content, but rather the hole in the lives of those who feel the need to post constant bollocks.

I'm getting shot down after several comments, yet no one is actually proving I don't have a point. Its like I touched a nerve and the those affected are hoping I'll vanish before they'll ever have to own up to their no existant lifestyle. Usuually that follow everything with a STFU!!!!

I've totally missed out on this thread and I haven't read all the pages of this topic so forgive me if I sound like anyone elses post. I've been a member here since 1999 and I will say that it's been slow in the Prince world lately and when nothing is happening in the Purple Camp. as I call it, you'll see threads like "Prince has a Wonderful Ass" "If I Dated Prince, I would...". It's always like that when nothing new is happening. For me, I'm here to see if anything is happening with Prince but if there is a thread that is mindless, for lack of a better word, I'll participate if I desire. If not, I'll go to another thread or go to another section of the site. I read what paisley16 said early in the thread and I agree that it's worst over in GD, in terms of cliques, but this has it's share too. It is what it is but I just think that if you don't want to participate or even read a thread, then don't go to it. It doesn't make you or anyone else any less of a Prince fan.
