Money Dont Matter 2night is a good song. 1 of my faves from Diamonds & Pearls which is also a real good CD IMO. "I'M OK AS LONG AS YOU ARE HERE WITH ME!!! SEXUALITY IS ALL WE EVER NEED!!!!!"

And I 2nd that! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Thanx so much. I've been a serious fan for 2 months now... and still going strong. His songs come and go in my mind, so I carry it my player wherever I go. There's just something so special about him that's both indescribile and mystifying. I feel like things really took off for me after getting my first 4 albums and every day, I listen to one (or parts), not only to the song, but its components. I owe a lot to being introduced to him the way I was, otherwise, I wouldn't see him the way I do. I respect & admire him. Thru his music, I seek to find a connection to him. That's what defines a good song for me: when I not only see what he wanted to express, but when his heart connects to mine. So far, he's connected with me thru Gold connecting his soul to mine... and Te Amo Corazon, connecting his heart to mine. This song is special because of the pieces he added to make it whole and the whole runs smoothly because of all the pieces. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

But I think I should be able to deal as long as 90%+ of the album has a great replay value. Push is one of my all time favorite Prince songs ever Well Push is still digestable and somewhat okay but Jughead??!!

Money is an interesting track... Does anyone happen to know where it falls in the timeline, as far as recording? In some ways, it seems to share more with the next album ( ) than D&P itself.

The best I could come up with was it was recorded in 1990. But you might be right. [can't say 4 sure cuz I don't own either album ...yet] Diamonds & Pearls, the song, is pretty special, in my opinion... but Money has a completely diff. feel to it. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong.
