Example: "mellow" on The Rainbow Children speaks plainly of sex toys and masturbation. Anyone have anymore examples like this? I have a ton of 'em. Anyone strongly disagree (and on what basis)? Agree...the difference is he isn't being coarse about it anymore which is a whole lot better and a whole lot sexier to me. Incense and Candles is waaay sexy. I agree!! Prince has learned to deal with sex in a more artistic yet still erotic lyrical approach. In the late 90's some of his lyrics were entering the cringe factor and trying to out explicit the rappers. He was in danger of being a parody of himself. Prince is always better when he is having fun and not dumbing down his songwriting. I just wish his current music was more introspective.

He became a JW back during the New Power Soul era when he starting hanging out with Larry Graham - before Rave. Prince never said he wasn't dirty ... he just said he didn't swear anymore. Nothing written above is swearing! True, but if you think back on some of Prince's most sexual songs--they didn't have any swearing in them. "Head","Do Me, Baby", "Jack U Off", "International Lover","Darling Nikki", etc-- have no swearing. Sure, he'd cuss early on in his career, but Prince didn't really get heavy on the cussing until the early 90's. "New Power slide...."

On 3121, there are 3 seductive tracks... one isn't really viable 4 this thread... cuz it's not really sexy... but that one track tempts me to fall in love with him...
But "Incense & Candles" and "Satisfied" definitely are viable. He weaves a spell with "Incense & Candles"... and I buy into it almost every time. Satisfied has only won me over once... I find it overall blah... my least fav. off 3121... but definitely the sexiest of the tracks on the album. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone
