Songs in which Prince's intensity in his singing is amazing

I was listening to "The Love We Make" from the "Emancipation" album and i am still astounded and blown away at the sheer intensity in his singing (sort of baritone/bass register for him) and the gospel feel he acheived during the last chorus before the song ends. Not to mention the lyrical references to theology (kind of mystical) but these are the type of songs i wish he would write and sing more often. Some of my favorites in this vein is:

7
4 The Tears In Your Eyes
Motherless Child (cover tune he played during the Septimo concert)
All Along The Watchtower/Best Of U
Reflection (although sung in his falsetto the wistful feel of the song is sentimental and thoughtful)
The Question Of U

There are so many, but there are a couple that come immediately to mind for me in addition to the previously mentioned ones:

Computer Blue's vocals really bring out the sexual frustration of the song

And I absolutely love the "psychedelic shouts" part of Damn U. So hot.

Computer Blues is definitely very intense in the end... the same applies in "Darling Nikki" as well.

I don't know if it is exactly "intense", but I love the mood created in "Joy In Repetion"

I've given that song quite a few listens the past couple of days.

But I just can't find much to like about it. I find it difficult to understand (in terms of the words he uses and what it's supposed to mean-- nor do I really care to know at this point).

I just don't get the song... shrug

There r going 2 b many, many songs that U won't know what they r about. That happens 2 me. Still, I just love, love them. Endorphinmachine is an xample, and I mostly love it because of the screaming and the guitar playing.

I dont know what Computer Blues is about, but I love it... the meaning doesn't matter just because, unlike Endorphinmachine, I can actually hear what he says. His words come off as a foreign language to me. I like to able to understand what he says.

Sometimes it snows in April

I was listening to this song on my headphones yesterday as I was lying in bed with my eyes closed, and his voice has so much pain in it, like he can barely finish the lines, and it made me cry.

The song is only incredible because of his singin'

No-one has mentioned Purple rain
The performance from the televised concert back in the day.

Yeah, maybe. Prince's screaming was just one of things that I got used to immediately after "falling in love with him".

But in this song, it is a little much... It's funny becuz in an interview, a caller said that a certain song didn't go along with the others in Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic. He said he put it in because it was a guitar-heavy song and he loves those.

The last day, I read up on TGE and Come... finding out that Endorphin machine was supposed to be on Come originally... but I guess prince wanted to release it no matter what. I felt like in this case, it does kinda fit into the TGE, since it's out of Prince's norm (at least the way I see it)... but the style of it clashes with the rest of the album.

Then again, he cleverly slotted "Shhh" to go directly after it, which really was needed. That was one of those instances where I felt he could read my mind and put this song where it was needed. (love the song, by the way, but it doesnt fit into this thread lol )

Easily "The Love we Make" the pain in his voice especially near the end is amazing, u can tell its all Live, no overdubbing or layering
