I did the samne thing in 1994, then again in 1997, then again in 2002. Only ever lasted about a month where I listened to other stuff, then I'd put a Prince record on for "one more go" and I'd be hooked again.

It won't last: his music sounds too good in any era, and even better when you haven't heard it in a while.

I took a Prince break once in 1987 and I didn't come back until 2004 with Musicology, I went to the concert and got hooked all over again, PLEASE think about what you are doing, something happens to you when you leave the nest you may never come home again! I almost didn't , now I'm never leaving again.
