I'd bet real money that Prince appreciates and respects Timberlake, because Timberlake appreciates and respects the art itself. Justin writes and performs not to be a poster boy, but because he loves the music, and appreciates the art. His music isn't groundbreaking, but it isn't stagnant either. If you really listen to what he's doing, you can tell he has fun with it.

In fact I would really like to hear what he could do with "Hide the Bone".

For God's sake people just listen to what he's doing, and stop assigning expectations. You'll likely find something you like.

1. Justin is just a pretty face, that doesn't make him talented
2. Prince writes his own music and plays several instruments. Justin doesn't play any instruments.
3. Prince has more variety in his music and lyrics, Justin's songs are all about the same things and sound alike.
