does anybody know if prince wanted to do something musical with this group like write some songs for them but just never got around to it?

they have some really good 80's r&b hits like "it's a love thang","rock steady" and JAMS like "in the raw" & "just keep on lovin' me"(oh don't sleep on the whispers now...they brought it to tha dance floor too! )

it wouldn't suprise me if he did.

after all,out of the 5 in the group, the 2 lead vocalists ARE twin brothers.
why not induct them into the hall of fame?

As far as I know,Prince never had any plans to work with the Whispers,but...

***In 1983,Prince heard The Whispers's song "Keep On Lovin Me" on the radio and thought it was a Jam and Lewis production.At that time,he didn't like the idea of his proteges working with other artists,so he gave Jimmy and Terry alot of heat.But they kept insisting that they had nothing to do with the song.

***There is a 1987 Whispers song "Give It To Me" that features the lyric "Though I may not be Michael J. or the Prince....I could make your life one hell of an event"
