Ok, I know that some(Or most) ppl here prefer UTCM over PR. What I wanna ask is what are the best parts/things from that movie??

Mine is the opening credit. If I liked the opening credit of some movie then I would enjoy the whole of it if that make sense 2 you!

The bathtub scene with the petals.

And that part where the naked chick jumps on the drum kit; *That moment has been sampled in hiphop!

hrmmm...I don't know that I necessarily prefer UTCM to PR. I like them both ALOT.

My fav parts of UTCM are the "wrecka stow" bit, "Girls and Boys" done by Prince while dancing on the piano, and at the party when you hear "New Position."


It's been a long while since I've watched UTCM. I am having the urge to watch it now!

Yes, the opening credit is good BUT, the best part for me is when Prince and Kristen are in the phone booth having sex! He's so passionate and oh so sexy!!!

when He got Shot&did Almost a James Brown Leg Split.I ain't never seen anybody get shot&go down in a Split almost.I saw a Movie with Fred Williamson back in the day with a Scene where a Cat gets punched&He falls almost like that but that scene cracks me up.Slap The Waves out your Head is Funny as Hell as well for me.

* When they waltz on the ship's deck (love the background music; what is that?)
* The entire nite out at the race track ... Life Can Be So Nice is killa and, my, what JUICY kisses ... yum.
* When they run away 2gether, taking a boat out to a cove 2 forget about their worries and make love for hours (moments B4 Tricky bursts their bubble, confessing the scam). Tres romantique.

I liked lots of parts, but favorites are; the phone booth scene, the dance between mary and prince at the club, wwhen prince enters mary's moms bedroom instead of marys, the grotto, and the car race.

my favourite part is when he is having a race with mary and just as the scence is ending he shouts a joyous 'Whooo'. it sounds like he really is enjoying himself.

When they're sitting in the car after having sex and he talks about how she talked during sex and then turned black.

Another one was when they were in the restaurant and Jerome asks him is he scared of bats then he screams with a mouth full of eggs and runs out.

I also love the part when he was scaring that girl(Jerome's girl) and the way he make fun of Mary.

But that scene, the one when he met her 4 the 1st time and gave her the eyes was the MOST embarissing shit I've eva seen even tho he look cute as hell.

Ya know? I hate un-happy endings so much, sound cheesy and childish but thats how I feel. The ending was the only and THE WORST part of the movie, I didn't cry(honestly) but it wasn't fun. At the SAME time, I had this funny feeling when I watched him say the dying words--Call me crazy tho

My fav parts are
Prince & Jerome getting dressed & talkin
shit about Mary over that killer groove.
That whole scene cracks me up

Speaking of UTCM, I could never fully understand what Prince 1st said 2 Mary when he was sitting on the sofa and she answered her fiance's phone call. I know he was kinda mocking her fiance when he called her baby.

Will it be released as DVD??? I trully HOPE so,,
