so, from what I gather in this thread as well as the other one in Concerts, no real indication yet as to why the increase?
My guess would be increase in demand since the SB plus (the rumor) it's the end of Vegas? Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"

The idea was to get the Vegas experience, but really- it still felt like it was all about Prince anyway-even though he was only 2 days of it! (detailed posts of my trip posted in Concerts forum) Hotel/Air $600, Prince $701 for dinner package for 2/friday. Aftershow- friday, outer room- $20 table cover (water cost more than my friends Corona-so that was easy), second night-Saturday- aftershow-in the room- $50 per person cover, plus $40 inside bill. (in general, these costs were split by 2, but I have a standing deal with a close friend- who's not a Prince fan so to speak- that in the big picture, I pick up most of the "extra" costs. that being said- BEST credit card charging I've ever done in my life!!! Thank you again Prince!  Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"

2003 Australian "greatest hits tour" was $171 upper level, $400 lower & floor and $1000 stage tix..
it really bugs me when people complain about the price.. dont forget u guys are able to go see this show over and over in your own country or town for that matter... if and when we get him again in australia.. can u imagine the inflation on the above prices! shut up already.. damn!

ps: where is my dalorian! Well, I'm disappointed about the ticket price in Vegas, as I would be coming from the UK. Not quite as far as Austrlia, but that doubling in ticket price can ruin a a trip's budget. |
