both of these songs seen to be the safe choice for DJ's as they seem to be the main songs put out on the radio! To me - both of them have been played to bits but if I had to choose it would be U Got the look...

u got the look is better. In fact, I find myself not listening to cream at all anymore,I ususally skip it on my IPOD.I will take U got the look anyday,especially the 12inch version. why? I dont know,it is just better...the hook is better, it has heavier guitar and better chorus...
Cream seems like a more poppy song,however...I do have to say I do like cream "live"...it is a better song live than on record. Stand Up! Everybody, this is your life!

At first I didn't like it, but it grew to be one of my most fav songs ever. Cream is just so-so, ...although the video was great! By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

They both stank... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I asume the strait foward commercialness of those songs plays a major role for alot of hardcore fans not really getting into neither song.While I definately see the mainstream appeal of both songs,I prefer the more "risky" songs so to speak myself. | |
