I was dabbling around with Acid Pro the other day making a mix of Erotic City for fun. I was just wondering how many of you orgers have made your own? If so, any advice?

actually eye have made quite a few 'lately'.. eye have the samples from a sample cd.. and eye made some sweet collage/remix types of stuff... anyone wanna hear

I havent done any remixes. But I have covered a few Prince trax. Ive done the Cross with a very very sexy voiced girl called Sandra on the vocals. Musically it aint that different to the original in that I havent added any sounds that were not there in the first place. Just beefed up the bass a little and went a bit over the top with the guitar solo… The drummer is wicked too!

Also done an ‘electro’ version of Under the Cherry Moon with a real funky, deep bass line and a kickass drum beat. More up tempo than the original. I got this amzing young singer called Orville. Only 16 years old, but what a great voice! Works a treat.

But Im a firm believer that the originals can never be topped… So I aint giving them away. And I certainly aint selling them. In fact they just sit on my PC, dormant, to occasionally remind me to keep my feet firmly on the ground when it comes to thinking im “all that” when the true master cannot be messed with.
