PrintableShout out to all Prince fans no matter what your ages are. Flashback: last year I was in Applebees & there was a group of bikers having lunch. They were kinda rowdy but not too bad. Well after about 10 minutes Kiss came on & half the place started singing, me & my husband, the folks next to us (looked like early twenties) & these biker dudes who looked to be about early to mid forties.  Now, that's another benefit of being an older Prince fan is that I've been working for awhile, been blessed in a lot of ways, and can somewhat afford to go to the shows in Vegas. I was also able to travel a bit for Musicology and will for future tours.
But it was HARD and painful when he was in his touring hey day, e.g. Purple Rain, Lovesexy, etc. that I was too young to go to those shows and my Mom wouldn't take me. Now I can book a flight (if he'd release the damn dates) and go to a show. It's awesome being old. . . I mean older.  | |
