I know Prince was on the Muppet Show years ago but I never got to see it. I was wondering if any of you know how I can get my hands on a copy of it?

My 2 year old and 5 year old love Prince, I play him in the car a lot (of course just the clean songs). I thought it would be cute for them to see Prince performing with the muppets.

I found it on one of the file-sharing programs, WinMX or Kazaa I believe. Download either or both of those programs, and search for "prince muppets" and if it's out there it should show up.

Had the same problem myself when I downloaded from KaZaA - until I came across the DivX Pro Player which has access to far more codecs than standard Windows Media Player. You should be able to find this easily enough through any search engine and once downloaded try playing the Muppets through it. Worked for me, so fingers crossed for you too. P.S. - love the Starfish & Coffee part of the show - cool!

Yeah, that segment is very cool. The muppet Prince is a pretty good imitation of the real thing too, circa Purple Rain

Logger - I checked out that site and WOW that is the best video collection of Prince I've ever seen. It looks reliable too, but I'm confused on how to order I guess I'll email that guy. Thanks for the link

Just pulled out my Muppet Show video and forgot all the stuff that i put on it. There is the MS that is in English but with subtitles at the bottom (it didn't play here in America) and i have it again with no subtitles but everything is in French (i believe) P doing the whole show in French is also neat. Also on the same video I have some unreleased videos Same December/18 & Over/Zannalee/I hate U/Purple medley long version that ends with Prince R.I.P.

It was cool to look at and I am glad someone brought this thread up. To the people that emailed me...I guess we can share. I am not really collecting anymore, just enjoy for the music. Sold my collection and just have these videos with lots of stuff on them. Is there a trading forum i should go to? Got a decent NYC Ritz video from '81. We could start a web trade. I send it to you, you send it to the next person, and so on and so on. Everyone dubs the original and passes it till the original gets back around to me. If this is soliciting or if I am doing something I am not supposed to do, just delete this thread.
