If I ever got lucky enough to have that chance, I'd be unable to breath standing/sitting by his greatness.

I'd say that I think he's a brilliant musician and admire how he's so dedicated to his work. That when he performs, I feel like he channels an aura that makes it impossible for me to look away. That his performances have always amazed me and he plays guitar better than anyone.

I'd start with that and maybe ask him a few questions... I'll be sure to give them a lot of thought, but limit myself to only three, so I won't take up too much of his time.

Truth be told, I don't think Prince really cares how tall he is. It's never stopped him before and he always tries to make the best of what he's got. Still, I wonder how he would react if you did say that to him... I guess it also depends on how you say it.

It's funny, though. Compared to Steve Martin at SNL (I saw the repeat last night)... he does look short... but he's got so much talent that height doesn't really matter all that much.

I would say, "Thank you for the amazing amazing music on February 9. Oh, yeah -- and you smell really good."
