Aww... I hope he at least wins Best Album.

Not to sound selfish, but I kinda don't want him to show up to the Grammy's just because I would miss out on it. My TV sux here at my dorm, so CBS is nothing but static. So I'd end up missing him if he did show.

But then, I always have that SNL repeat to look forward too... I'm just not gonna like having to stay up an extra hour tomorrow night just to see it.

But it is Prince and I gotta see him do his more recent stuff. I've seen enough of his older stuff this week online... I want to see/hear him do some of his newer stuff to see how it compares. I'm sure I'll like it no matter what, though. He hasn't disappointed me yet.

I don't look for him to show tonight. It would have been reported by Extra or Inside Hollywood or some other tabloid show. I am listening 2 xm's Grammy channel now and they haven't mentioned Prince yet.

His best shot was Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. I can't believe John Legend beat both Prince and Luther, who has been the Grammy R&B darling since Stevie stopped releasing albums regularly.

I know, that's completely insane.

It's like my dad says, over 90% of today's music is crap. Almost everything I hear on the radio except for a few one-hit wonders are songs that I'd rather not hear played 100 zillion times. They don't make music like they used to, so I really only listen to a couple of artists that are less well-known.

Prince puts all of that mainstream music to shame.

Without a shred of hyperbole, I'd have to say the Grammy Awards have reached an all-time low.
