Most of his larger venue concerts last 2+ hours. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

I was thinking the same thing, but it's okay by me! They keep us informed, anyway. Shame that the club went away. I really liked being able to buy tickets before the public. It was great getting to sit in the second row for both Musicology shows I went to. Guess it's back to the days of logging into Ticketmaster right at sale time. I hear ya...that was so great picking up our tix at Staples Center on Musicology's opening night back in 2004....having no idea where our seats would be. We were beyond words when we opened up the envelope to see that we were 3rd row Ahhhh....the memories

SexyBeautifulOne said: Ummm, guys. I tried to go to Windsor the other night, (I'm from Detroit) and you NOW need a passport to go to Canada. Isn't Homeland Security great?
You might want to start working on that first, since it takes several weeks to get and costs close to $200.00. Just thought I'd let you know...fam on! Hi there - A passport is not a requirement to get into Canada (I live in Windsor). Perhaps the customs officer was giving you a hard time. At the current time, as a U.S. citizen you require a passport if you are "flying" back to the U.S. from another country. Passports are not required at the Ambassador Bridge and/or Windsor Detroit Tunnel. A passport is a bonus, but at the current time, your birth certificate and drivers license should be sufficient to get you back and forth between the two countries (providing you are not flying). So: FLYING = you need a passport. DRIVING = you don't need a passport

That's it - BRING ON THE TOUR!!!

There really is no other way to go! Houston isn't showing anything yet on maps...and..btw...to the person above who commented about why would they have personal maps for the artists....they do...the Houston maps show for the Toyota Center show maps for JT and The Rolling Stones..and will likely do the same for Prince's set up. Each artists has a different setup for their concerts. Ticketmaster provides those maps so you can choose your seats accordingly when purchasing. I really enjoyed being able to purchase front row tix from npgmc...and I feared when all the bitching of "older members should get first chance" yada yada, that it would go away...I certainly hope it didn't and we will have the chance to once again purchase tix through 3121 like we did in the past. I would love to see one up close and one from the nose bleed. It's not likely that you'll see a map for a show at the Toyota Center until things are in stone which can be a while.

Most of his larger venue concerts last 2+ hours. Tell that to the folks at the Hardrock who paid $400.

During the musicology tour Prince told an interviewer that he would only ever play in the round again whilst on tour. Dont know how serious he was about that

Dont know how serious he was about that I'm sure for an artist, the feeling of beïng surrounded by fams is much more enjoyable than having to face just one side. I saw that tour 3 times: twice on the floor in NPGMC seats, and once from "regular seats". Although I was in the 2nd row for one of them, I had a much better time in the regular seats because I got to see what was going on in the rest of the concert as well... For instance, the 2nd row seat was in Philly- Patti LaBelle came up & was on the opposite side, so I heard her, but never saw her! My EX-fiance did, because he was tall enough to see over the stage, but at 5'3", I didn't see $#!& during that part. I'd prefer a straight stage, too! "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Haven't read much of this thread, so maybe it has been mentioned already, but the deal is the tour starts in April, goes all over the world including the US, and ends around February of 2008.
