i'm not sold on cora on drums - of course, it's gotta be REALLY HARD to follow blackwell and sheila - and meanwhile, unless renato is along for the ride again, everyone else in the band just seems anonymous. the best i can say for his current band is that they can keep up with prince...which isn't for nothin'....but his bands usually can keep up and give a little extra personality or skill to boot.

I'm well excited about a tour now. I did think watching the suerbowl that the stage was very extravagant for a one off performance, so looks like he's gonna get his moneys worth

Cora was anonymous at the SB, she was totally mixed out. At 3121 she was good (I will not make any comparisons with Blackwell or Sheila). Her husband, Mr. Bass-player, is maybe the only one who's anonymous.....I'd agree with that. Expect Renato & Morris Hayes to join. The brass-section, Greg (especially Greg!) & Mike rock, and then there is Maceo (who really is only good in an entourage like this instead of a solo-act.....he's getting old).

This band will pull it off! I only hope he won't bring Shelby. The girl can definitely sing and it is great P endorses her, he just should let her outside of the band.
