Accoriding to TMZ...

Billy Joel will perform the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Miami on Feb. 4, and will join Prince in the halftime show. He's the first performer to sing the national anthem twice -- he did it in 1989.


Thoughts? A duel piano battle?

They'll obviously perform 'Uptown' and 'Girl' together to make fans of both artists happy.

Hope this is an error! Let Billy Joel keep performing with the queen,Elton John,and leave the Prince alone 2 put on the greatest halftime show ever! Prince doesn't need support acts r special guests.He's a 1 man show !!

Why do people think Billy can't be on the same stage as Prince?

Billy Joel is a tremendous piano player and singer.

Prince is a tremendous multi-faceted performer.

I don't think Prince can teach Billy anything about piano, just like Billy can't teach Prince that much about guitar, drums, and bass.

Both are great, professional musicians.

It'd be great to hear a collaboration.
