i had that problem, but i figured it out...
u just need to put in a space or any other sort of non alphabetical or non numerical character in your password. | |

Create a password. Then add one of these symbols at the end: $ , &, or my favorite * | |

i put my password and ended it with a question mark and that worked. just like prince to make things more difficult than they need to be. like not being able to see your email address on the screen while you are typing it. yellow on yellow is not very easy to read. i thought my info from npgmusicclub would transfer over but apparantly not. | |
