Just caught the performance. Dont want to cause a riot but i thought it was a poor performance.

the band was a mish mash, nobody for Prince to work with/bounce off. them twinz aint got shit all, only thing going for them is that they look alike. it doesnt automatically equate chemistry.. looks a tad sordid too. then, amongst these lesser performers you have a great player like Renato, lost and tucked away.

Prince's playing seemed histrionic.. all showboating, no feeling. Ending all your songs with a 'lets go crazy' finale was boring and devoid of any emotion. Its such a shame because Prince can do so much bettr. With all emphasis on the guitar i was hoping he would drop something special.. not a rock'n'roll by numbers version of johnny b goode with a handfull of guitar faces for good measure.

on the otherhand perhaps its hard to get inspired in the afternoon in front of a load of journo's

Great performance P. Not overly concerned with the "facial" expressions, I understand what it is to be "inside" the notes of your Music and playing with and from the Soul (anotherloverholeinyohead). I totally understood the visual of the whole performance, I knew when I saw the "Lid" what it was all about. Dude when it comes to performing, you're about as real as they come.....Keep doin U !!

Maybe Im just slow on the uptake but anyone notice his band in the background...its that Renato on the keys and whos on the kit...hmmmm

Prince was good. Look and sound.
Twins were a bit too sedate.

They need to stay in really fast perpetual motion.
That way it's harder to tell that they're not really doing much of anything.

That sexy shot: Well, it's sexy in the photos but the live footage is tepid. Even two of them can't create one Beyonce moment. So maybe Prince should tell them to stay in the distance, move really fast and try not knock anything over.

these pics definately show what he really looks like... which is his age. i like it though becuz he looks more real and not so airburshed like all the picts he puts out

Hate to say it but Prince is looking a bit tired on these pics. Sometimes I forget that he's almost 50, because he still looks good, but thes pics aren't the best.....

Anyway, at this point, I don't care who he performs with. Just glad that he's going to peform!!!!
