Should Prince Take A Shot At Timberlake During Super Bowl

Since they're going back and forth and with Timbalands recent comments. I think a publicity stunt type feud would be good for Prince. Especially when the talent level is so ummmm...uneven.....between them biggrin

Maybe toward the end of his set today he could say "I'd like to see any of these sexyback singers come up on this stage and do it like I do it" and then rip a big guitar finish to the set.

I think the publicity from something like that might light a fire under people who are kind of Prince fans and help album and ticket sales. Plus it would call out all those talentless hacks who cop Prince's style and then dog him in interviews.

I think he should do this, what do y'all think?

no.

His presence there, and what he will do there is shot enough.

Prince won't have too....Just being there speaks volumes! cool cool cool

I give Justin another year or two and you won't ever hear from him again. What Justin has forgetten is that there is always someone who can take your place unless you have longevity and real talent. JT just doesn't have the entire package. Now, I do like some of his music, but I can't remember titles that just stay in my mind. It is always the current project. Where when I think of Prince, I think of Parade, Mountains, SOTT, Sexy Dancer, I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man, The Word, Diamond and Pearls, etc. etc. etc.

But for Justin, all I can remember is his current projects. Now, that is very sad. Maybe he will fare better in movies. Hey, is Alpa Dog out yet? I see that they are now promoting his second movie at Sundance.

The ironic thing is, JT went to the Superbowl before Prince did.

no prince was on in 91(not half time but still).. and i am sure he was asked a few times... and you know that at any time over the last 20 years if prince would have asked... they would have accepted.

No, I hope Prince doesn't because it would just be silly and childish. And hopefully he knows he's above that. I'm tired of these silly arguements. If you have to have them then argue about important, meaningful things instead... rolleyes
