Funny this question is asked. back in the day when i was younger I asked my sister in law who she was into and she replied Rock Music so I asked her Hendrix what about him and she replied WHO? so it doent suprise me one bit that some kids of today dont know who Prince is.

This sentiment is kind of scary. People not knowing who Prince is? I've know who Prince is basically all my life. I just can't see anyone not knowing who P is. It should be a law to at least know who the man is. I'm only 20 and everyone I knew knew who Prince was and was singing his songs and talking about how hot and sexy he is.
I simply can't imagine hearing, "Who's Prince?" I think I'd fall the fuck out.

I was dating a girl (she's my ex now, not quite nice person) and she didn't knew Jimi. We had a fight for a week because she didn't know jimi We ended up, listening to Hendrix a whole night before I could forgive such stupidity (I mean she likes guitars but doesn't know Jimi...)

I was recently in a class full of transportation professionals (mostly older white men) doing the old fun intro game...so for trivia I said I'm a huge Prince fan and the lady next to me said me too...Then she pointed out a man they call Mr. Happy..I had him listen to the song from Emancipation.. He liked so much he said he might have to watch the halftime show..

this is nothing.... When I still hadnt the whole Prince discography, I looked 4 the cds in various stores... Sometimed happened that when I asked about Prince cds the answer was: "Prince????? Who is Prince"?
