okay- i'm just dying to see the half-time show!!!! i'm trying not to think abt it, but stories like this just make me more curious. one thing i know is that it'll be a fantastic show, because, after all--- it is PRINCE.

Ive been hanging out for this superbowl half time show since i !st heard about it.. Like its gonna finally get some attention here for once i finally got cable and a HDD so i can watch it over and over... This marching band just makes me even more excited....

Prince doesn't need support acts,he's a 1 man band all by himself.I just hope this band doesn't steal 2 much of his camera time.

If he wants to play hits (which is what he will have to do anyway) then he is pretty much left with "Little Red Corvette", "U Got The Look" and material from Diamonds & Pearls, if you'd want to play material that hasn't been played to death on televised performances. Playing "1999" would be just silly of course.

I think Sign of the times will be a fitting song. Live he always plays that with a marching band sound, so I think musically it will definitly do. Lyrically it's a 'timeless' song and many people know it.... yeah I think that's the song he need!
