Gross. What would they do with it? I shudder to think. neutral

i dunno, but with all the possibilities for remasters and vault releases and live recordings and whatnot, they could stand to make a pretty penny from his legacy for years to follow. i could see him doing this.

Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

A friend and myself were talking teh other day about this exact thing in light of the JB situation. We both agreed that teh minute he stops breathing is the minute teh vault implodes and the bulldozers level paisley and any other property that he has

Nooooo!

Museum idea sounds great, his own Graceland. Thousands would make it their lifes ambition to make the pilgrimage.

But not 4 a long time yet pray
seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

I just want to be his long lost little sister..and I like the museum idea but it would be a static way to celebrate him. I would much rather see a performance art institute where you can study all of the arts (dance, visual, fashion, even architecture) and I would rather have him start this before he dies...

I fear he may not have prepared properly and it might all go to his sister and half-siblings, which might make the James Brown fiasco look like a tea-party.

You never know with Prince. He might have it all worked out and it could all be cool, or maybe he can't face the thought of his own demise, and so puts it to the back of his mind until 'one day' - which may never come.

I suppose 'one day' we will find out. neutral

Yes, that was what I meant...here is what I wrote originally,
It might be kind of cool if Paisley Park became a museum/community center where kids could come take classes and learn about "real music by real musicians." Like a Presidential library except it's musicology.

cool
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
