Prince's Legacy Since Prince doesn't have any children, his parents have passed, and he's recently divorced, who would wind up in control of Prince's estate should he pass on today? I'm not wishing it upon him mind you and it may seem a bit morose, but what would happen to his loot, unreleased material, properties, etc... Larry?  What happens to somebody's legacy at this point? I'm sure P is savvy enough to have all this figured out, but maybe if ya'll have any insight....?

A friend and myself were talking teh other day about this exact thing in light of the JB situation. We both agreed that teh minute he stops breathing is the minute teh vault implodes and the bulldozers level paisley and any other property that he has | |

Well since he's technically still married, wouldn't Mani get it?
Maybe he has plans to donate everything to a museum, a foundation, or the city of Minneapolis or something. It might be kind of cool if Paisley Park became a museum/community center where kids could come take classes and learn about "real music by real musicians." Like a Presidential library except it's musicology. Most importantly I just hope he has some plan...I would hate to see a bunch of people come out of the woodwork and start fighting over shit. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Admittedly, I don't spend much time following up on Prince's marital status...he's too old for me and not really my type. I don't date guys who are prettier than me anymore. For what it's worth, she has "married" on her myspace profile.
