Has Prince covered Zeppelin besides "Whote Lotta Love?"

Has he ever done other Led Zeppelin covers?

I know Led Zeppelin had quite an influence.

If Prince doesnt own a copy of Houses Of The Holy i'll be very surprised smile
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

I would love to see
Prince re-do "How Many More Times"

it kinda reminds me of
SOTT era... a little

I could see him grooving to that
on that stage from that movie

and Cat Glover wopping it out
in the background
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."

P said in a RS interview that Led Zeppelin were able to switch gears from light to heavy with amazing dexterity. Robert Plant was a huge P fan. Jimmy Page has complimented Prince's guitar skills.

I always thought Rasberry Beret's lyric, "In through the out door", was a reference to LZ.

The best reference I can see that Prince did to the mighty Zep, was in RASPBERRY BERET...

she walked 'IN THOUGH THE OUT DOOR', out door.

That is the name of their last offical album before John Bonham died.

Lisa and Wendy were really good at getting Prince to open up to other influences.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/
