When I went back to listen to 'It's Gonna Be Lonely' from the Prince album, I heard the makings of 'Adore' & 'FLSMW' Did anyone else? What's your fav out of the 3. I think they all are the bomb. (although I have heard some people don't like them) I love his vocals, the music and everything.

Funny...when I was in junior high (86-89), I used to put the Prince album on repeat and go to sleep to it. I would constantly wake through the night, but only when "It's Gonna Be Lonely" was on. I always found that a little spooky, and it fast became one of my favorites.

They are all somewhat similar, but "Adore" is tops, HANDS DOWN!

I think 'It's Gonna Be Lonely' is Prince's real first-rate ballad, you can tell he was getting more comfortable in writing slow jams. 'Adore' is...well...it's 'Adore' isn't it?

...and personally i can't stand 'Friend,Lover,Sister,Cousin/Whatever...'.

"It's Gonna Be Lonely", that is my all time favorite Prince song. It was the one that hooked me and reeled me in. I'd give a kidney, to see him perform that live!
