Yeah, I just saw that too. They had a little clip of him performing at last year's finale and then said what better place to start than in Minneapolis. 
I wonder how many people will sing Prince songs for their audition.  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. LMAO at Jewel's response to the girl who butchered her song. Can you imagine if Prince was a guest judge and someone did that to one of his songs?!? Now that would be hilarious. Yes. She does. I had a good feeling about her. The other girl who forgets the words to "Kiss" and can't sing even if she had the lyrics in front of her, is FROM Minneapolis. Wow. How come no one deludes themselves into thinking they can play the piano but EVERYBODY thinks they can sing?

OMG. That girl who tried to sing Kiss was a hot mess. That was too funny. How can you be from Minneapolis, pick a Prince song, and NOT know the words?!? Even my not Prince fan friends know more verses to that song than her.

I was rolling after he said that. Them fools destroyed Kiss. It was unbelievable and that girl who sang the song first, what a disgrace. But it was cool to hear all the people in the auditorium sing 1999 in the beginning.I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |
