Try Again. Lets pretend Prince is not going to release a full-fledged CD in 07, as the new norm seems to be 2 years between records.

But lets say he has the time to create a quickie, something made in a week or two, like Batman. Something he would not likely tour behind.

Ok, maybe the new release will be a concert DVD from the last tour. But lets pretend that this is not an option.

Would you rather see him put out a quickie record of Christmas standards, a record of original Holiday music, or a record of loopy, quickly recorded fun songs geared towards children.

I would choose the latter. Prince could make one terrific kids record, with songs akin to Starfish and Coffee, Good Love, and the Penguin song which just won the award. (oh, my poor memory is killing me!)
