Magazine to Feature Exclusive Interviews and Pictorials Compiled by the Artist Himself

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In case Prince's music career doesn't quite pan out or he just grows tired of overseeing the activities of the hottest club to hit the Las Vegas scene, 3121 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, fans have no need to worry about what would be in store for the artist who has been feverishly taking over the valley with his late night, high energy musical escapades. It seems Prince is dabbling in the world of publishing.

Currently in talks with several Las Vegas publishers, Prince has piqued the interested of all the major players with his concept 3121 Magazine. When Prince is not bringing down da' house at 3121 on Friday and Saturday nights, he is busy pursuing his current hobby, photography and it appears that his work is quite extraordinary -- capturing private candid shots with the same air of his unique jam sessions. 3121 Magazine would provide the perfect outlet to showcase his photos.

The new 3121 magazine (in development now) will feature interviews with musicians and exclusive photos taken by Prince. Currently on location shooting publicity shots for a new singer he is working with, Prince will be back in Vegas to ring in the new year at 3121.

Fans have already been snapping up tickets for what is sure to be the hottest show in Vegas on one of the town's biggest nights of the year. A limited amount of VIP packages are still available which include dinner at 3121 Jazz Cuisine, VIP seating to see PRINCE and a complementary bottle of champagne. i wonder how long this will maintain prince's interest?

I'm glad this thread was re-opened because it is a bit different than the other thread.

I wanted to say that what I'm most excited about and looking forward to is seeing Prince's exclusive photography. His new hobby could turn out to be quite interesting for however long it lasts.

prince really needs to pull a 200 online question series like sly did over at aintitcool. it was an eye opening experience for sly. he read all the talkback responces and was amazed at the fan's perspectives. so much so he is promising to come back and do 200 additional question and answers.

sly even asked for career advises and asked for folks opinion on him re-making Death Wish. The fans had a serious discussion w/ pros and cons on both sides and in the end Stallone sided with the majority of the fans and decided to scrap the film idea.

experts predicted Rocky Balboa would only gross 2 to 3 million but do to the huge goodwill that sly earned from doing the online questions the film took in over 6 million.

now, its sad world we live in when Sly Stallone comes off smarter then you. Come on prince...what does a magazine have anything to do with your musical/creative genius?

i doubt prince is going for an oprah/rosie/martha vanity magazine approach. my guess is that it will be a threadbare, overpriced collection of skimpy press releases and (probably more interestingly) exclusive photographs, all of which will be of great interest to diehard fans and will probably be available by subscription, or free if you visit the rio.

all of this is conjecture, of course.

i just can't see prince helming an ACTUAL lifestyle magazine to compete in the mainstream marketplace. no way. i'd LOVE to see him try, of course. i'd be all for it.

i hope it is better than NPG...

I consider myself a BIG fan, yet I'm wondering if I even need this...

Prince photos would be awesome to see though...

This will be more like an inflight airline magazine of sorts which will be
given away freely and will be stocked at major hotels lobbies on the vegas strip!!


more like a sales pitch for his show and highlight the rio has other proteges whole the time??

and it will include local ads to pay for the publication
