Received a reply from NPGMC after I sent a polite email to them - they have made more tickets available for Friday and Saturday!! I waited until I emailed them before posting - no response from them yet!

We apologize 4 the delays this morning. We have made some more tickets available 4 Friday and Saturday. Please emale us back as soon as u can with ur name, famname, and how many tickets u would like 2 purchase 4 which shows, and if it's okay 2 bill ur credit card in ur CC profile 4 the order.

i got the same email and orderd my ticket straight away!

if you're gonna send (some) people this e-mail, then why not just have people e-mail you with the info in the first place and have that BE the pre-sale? that way people don't have to miss work based on the erratic behavior of lil' symbolina and his cronies in order to repeatedly try to reload an OBVIOUSLY cheap-as-hell website?? jesus. remember the downloading last year? CHRIST.

oh. and $7 for shipping the cd from minneapolis to ohio (a 12-hour drive) apparently wasn't enough to get the damn thing here in a week. the site says it was shipped last friday, but the mailman came and my box is empty. i'm already dreading the wait for the damn live set when it finally starts going out...it's excruciating. remember back in the day when EVERYONE got it at once, for the most part? as morris would say, SO exciting!!!

Morris was the only one who had perspective, that's why he didn't follow Princey's demands to become a Jehovah to stay with the band, such a pity such a talent is such a pain in the ass!

I got the email too, and have emailed them back.

In the interests of fairness, I have asked them whether I can have London tickets in exchange for Manchester ones. If they can swap them, then that's fine. If not, I will accept the London ones (if I'm lucky enough to get them) and offer my Manchester one at cost to another fan. I will keep you posted.

This is just getting ridiculous! I can understand it happening to 1 person but geez...this is going way beyond their past examples of incompetence.

Be careful if you sell your Manchester tix to someone else. The site says you need to produce photo ID when claiming your tickets at the window.

I think theblueangel meant his/her MAILbox is empty.

Blueangel, although the npgmc site under 'ur account' may say "order date: 01/01/02" --this is not the mailing date but the day they confirmed your purchase, nothing more.
It normally takes about 3-4 weeks for retail items to be mailed out(took 3.5 wks for my tourbook to come) and CD's(like ONA) seem to be sent to members out in packs- saves on cost.

here isn't that geat, they made more tickets avalaible.

sorry for the confusion - i only meant that the MAILBOX was empty, not that i got an empty box from the npg. if that happens i'm-a drive my ass up to minnie and kick some ASS!

so whatever. it'll PROBABLY come monday, but gimme a break...why they gotta cut on cost per these "group mailings" anyway? where's the money going? i love the soundchecks, etc. but they don't cost the club a damn thing..in fact it COSTS us more money just to have the opportunity to purchase tickets...so it really does come down to $25 per cd...and if this ONA live thing is really the fulfillment of this "contract" prince FORCED us to sign in order to have first access to his music, then i will never again waste my money on the little prick. or, rather, if i DO, i'll get good tickets through scalpers and the music online or through a friend.
