Ahh, the Purpleaxe, first mentioned in the Diamonds & Pearls album booklet if I remember correctly. I remember it having a (TM) after it.

Just to clarify; this is a patent for the ornamental design of the keyboard not the musical instrument itself.

Prince didn't invent that. That was Roger Linn. The Linn Drum Machine is named after him.

Prince was one of the first people to use the Linn LM-1 drum machine.
