Heard "Little Red Corvette" in the grocery store, "Delirious" and "Letitgo" in the sandwich shop (separate days), and "1999" on the radio while driving in the car the other day -- funny thing, each time I was with a friend and didn't hear a word they were saying while the songs were playing. Also, just heard "Let's Go Crazy" thrown between some new hip-hop and "punk" rock on the radio last week. [Edited 1/11/07 1:42am] | |

The thing I hate most about winter is that I can't drive around with the windows down and the sunroof open...with Prince screamin' "WHAT'S...MY...NAME?!"
Last place I heard him? In my car...this morning...on the way to work...windows all rolled up against the cold.  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

Oddly enough, I heard "Black Sweat" playing over the PA in Wal-Mart the other night! My son had gotten a gift card for his birthday, and we were searching through the toy aisle for something for him to spend it on, when suddenly I hear that tell-tale whistle. It was quite surreal to be standing there in this crappy store, with my five year old singing "workin' up a black sweat" at the top of his lungs while holding onto a Jack Sparrow dress-up set!!
