The Work Volumes Has anybody ever attempted to clean up these recordings? I would think with all of the technology now a days, that there would be a new computer program that would be able to clean up a lot of these tracks. This is a great collection to have, I just wish they were cleanier tracks. It seems as though some of these tracks don't sound much different on CD then they did back in the day on tape. | |

i think it goes up to about 9.
The last i heard a certain Irish fan was in the process of cleaning them up. I only have the first 4. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

someone wants a third cleaning of the tracks? Too much processing will make it sound fake, bubbly, and digitally garbled...

The first five volumes (each 4-disc sets) were issued by Thunderball on factory-pressed CD.
Four subsequent fan-made volumes (and some additional single disc remix and outtake supplement releases) generally filling in gaps, but also providing some better quality recordings were subsequently produced on CD-R labelled volumes 6, 7 8 and 9, and adopting the same style artwork. An 'enhanced' complete CD-R set was later put together which (eliminating some duplication) reduced the total number of CDs in the entire set. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

About 2 years ago, a cat got me all 5 volumes that were polished, a crisp sounding, and artwork for $60. I thought it was too good to be true until I got them all in the mail. I know this is wrong to talk about this, but that's perhaps the best sounding ----leg stuff I have ever gotten! | |

The best leg stuff I ever got thru the mail was a lamp. Now, I'm living large, homes....
