Gett Off Cover Art I'm trying to figure out what the cover art on Gett Off actually says... I have looked at a couple of scans on the web, but can't make out much detail. Here is a sleevographia link:

There is a small drawing of Eric Leeds and the comment that reads something like; Go Buy Eric's Jazz record.

wha..?? all these years, and i never heard about this. i do have the 12" actually, but the back is just plain yellow with the song titles listed...maybe i bought the import or something? i like that "4 those who think the little prince is sleeping." dang, gett off was the MAD jam. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Blue Angel, This is artwork that was included on a 1500-promotional release of "Gett Off" that actually preceded the release of the "Diamonds and Pearls" album if I'm not mistaken. I don't think too many people actually have this -- although with the advent of mp3 technology and peer-to-peer it is fairly easy to actually get a version of this release. I imagine it would be quite costly to get an actual copy of this promo. La, la, la

The European version had a different back cover which left all those messages out. | |
