IF PRINCE HAD HIS OWN CLOTHING LINE

If prince was to ever come out with his own line of clothing, what do you think it would be like? Prince does have a since of fashion, he could do mens suits and casual wear for the guys, like he did for THE TIME and himself, and he could do a clothing line for the ladies also...remember Vanity 6 outfits. I know he tried to do a clothing line on his NPG club before, but what if he was to came out with a line of cloths like other artist have, such as, Sean John, Phat Farm or Apple Bottoms by Nelly for the ladies. What do u think it would be like, would u be daring enough to wear it, do U think if would be popular or a dud?

didn't he come close to this during the Gold Exp tour in the UK. He had dealings with a local Denim Manufacturer here in Manchester [Joe Bloggs] label. As with most things commercially related to Prince though it fell through. Joe Bloggs was THE label during the 'madchester' phase with BIG Baggy Jeans.
Also recall talking to Parke and Prince's Clothes desginer at the first PPark celebration about what they had on sale there. They laughed at his reaction when he was shown regular T's etc , don't think he was too impressed with the normality of the range!.

Guys would get eaten alive if they dressed like Prince. Only he can pull that shit off.

Prince has had his own clothing line(s) of sorts, no? Not very wide-ranging, it must be said (T-shirts with NPG symbol and stuff). Doesn't that count?

It was mostly shit, anyway. Tho' i bought some of it. redface

I understand that, but prince is a whole lot more tame than he was when those
cloths cames out or when he wore those outfits, if u notice he wears a lot, more
suits now, if he did suits it couldn't be worse than Steve Harvey's suits, and the women clothing would Probally be sexy ....crazy lol sexy razz cool cool

It was '92-'93. I have one of the T-Shirts with Sexy MF on it. There was a Diamond and Pearl range for girls I think.
Oddly Joe Bloggs seemed to disappear after that !

falloff
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

It would be dumb for him to start a clothing line. Unlike the rest of these current dead asses that shouldn't even be stars, part of being a star, is having a look that is unique and stands out from the crowd. You can't look different if you sell your clothes to everyone else.

Based on his concert T-shirts, this would be the ugliest clothing line ever. All I ever want is a basic black shirt with a small symbol on it or PRINCE small, but he always makes a bunch of shit to buy (and I buy it) confused

No. But possibly a small elegant collection of high end evening wear. For women. Or accessories(cufflinks, ascots belts etc...) for men.

I think that he could dress women VERY WELL. He has great taste and he seems to know what looks good on women...remember Mayte saying that he picked her clothes for her. I have never seen a pic with her in it that she did not look good in. I would love for my man to dress me...at least I would know that he really liked to see me in what I have on. Takes the guess work out for me...but of course I have to get a man first biggrin .
