I am seriously thinking about purchasing this, but before I do, I would value the opinion of my fellow orgers. Is it worth the price $15:99 USD and is it any good apart from the song Beautiful Strange??.

I say if you're a fan and can find it for that price, get it

It's better than Rave un2...shame that strange but true was ommited!

Definitely worth every penny! Get it!

hey! I just 1st time listening to this yesterday when I got it in the mail. I thought that is was great. The last track surprised me, though.

What's the last track and why did it surprise you?

The original rave is great IMO but the sound is horrible; the compression is a disgrace to an artist like Prince.

I was told the rave in2 sounds different but it's mastered by the same man so i don;t know?

I differ from alot of folks in that I like Rave Un2 better than Rave In2.

"Beautiful Strange" is as boring as "Everyday is a Winding Road" is over-the-top.

The extended versions or "full" versions on In2 are not all that much more impressive than Un2, and the remixes sound so dated that I'd rather listen to the originals.

But I'm in the minority with this one.

Are the mixes cleaner or still distorted and squashed?

Rave In2 is a massive improvement, the sound is definitely better, the packaging is better, the booklet is better, the undisputed mix is better, the hot wit u remix is better, the extended baby knows is better, the addition of "beautiful strange" is better, the prettyman extended version is better. shame it doesnt include strange but true, the only failing!

It's a big improvement over Rave Un2 in nearly every way...the weakest song on the original album is discarded and replaced by a top-drawer one, the 'nasty girl mix' turns Hot Wit U into nearly a decent song, the songs that are extended are better because of this, and like alot of people have said already; the sound quality is better.

I do resent the fact that one of my fave songs (Strange But True) was omitted for no apparent reason though.
