One Nite Alone Piano Album Why is there so little talk about the ONE NITE ALONE piano album?
I finally got hold of it and it is wonderful. It is such a soothing and beautiful piece of music. Pearls B4 The Swine in particular is like getting into a warm bath. Terrific. | |

I like it.  I don't think it's the best thing he's done by any means, but I thought it was great to listen to such an intimate recording, I mean it's almost like he's singing just to you at times, and although it is something you've gotta be in the mood for, it's a very cool album...especially to just wind down and chill out to.
My fave track's probably U're Gonna C Me.  love is god, god is love, girls and boys love god above | |

It's his most underrated album by far. The whole album has this intimate, introspective atmosphere. It gives you this feeling of imagining Prince playing his piano in the moonlight, just singing his thoughts out loud in the middle of the night.
Prince doesn't overdo it on any of the tracks. There's no over the top, bombastic attempts at power ballads or pathetic attempts at a hit single. Just a collection of consistently pleasing melodies with sweet, sometimes somber lyrics and a pervasive feeling of subtle sadness throughout. Beautiful album. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

maybe I should give it another listen, becuz I don't get this album at all, I find it VERY boring, the songs just doesn't appeal to me. Prince 4Ever.  | |
