Prince YouTube links Sorry to disappoint you all but this thread does not include any links. I would just like to ask politely for people to refrain from posting links to Prince clips on YouTube.
I personally have no problem with YouTube but when the links get posted on here it gives the names of the "offenders" to certain lawyer types who then manage to have the accounts closed and the clip becomes unavailable. It happened this week when a link was posted for the legendary First Avenue gig in 1983. Within a couple of hours these clips vanished after being available on YouTube for a couple of weeks. This is a crying shame because it's a fantastic gig and more people should see it. I'm not going to ramble on about the rights and wrongs of posting clips, we all have our own opinions. Please just search for the clips yourselves and you will find some gems, don't make it easy for "the man"! | |

oddly enough, threads exactly like this make it just as easy for "the man" as posting a link out in the open. y'think people would learn to perhaps shut up about it, but nope.
