Prince/Superbowl mention in Letterman monologue

Letterman "announced" Prince as the Superbowl Halftime act tonite- he repeated it 3 times- I think only 5 people in the audience clapped! Then, after a long pause, he said, "Did they not even WATCH my audition tape?!"
