4 The Tears in U'r Eyes I was looking up Wendy & Lisa, and I found a song I had never heard from classic prince before. Shame everything went so afar off.
I've never even read about this song. maybe I didn't care to notice. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

It's on the We Are The World album and also on The Hits/B-Sides.
Story has it that is was recorded in one take with Prince, Wendy, and Lisa in different rooms. I'm not sure how to take your "Shame everything went so afar off" comment, but if you're lamenting the breakup of that amazing creative grouping of artists, then I agree. |

There are 2 versions of 4 The Tears In Your Eyes, the We Are The World album version and the Live Aid video recording/B-Sides version. | |

the WATW album version is UGLY
he was screeching and W/L just sounded dry.the music was choppy and loud the other version is ALOT better.....im starting to wonder if the WATW album version was done halfassed on purpose | |
