What's wrong with covering Jimi? I don't know why he changed the name from Machine Gun to Habibi (Makes it seem like he was ripping him off instead of covering him), but I thought it was a good cover.

Language as manipulation. It's done a lot here, isn't it? To somehow fit in I guess. Wanted: ingenuity with your words at least.

I burned a cd with Habibi followed by Days of Wild, the cd passed out at the celebration, and they go together beautifully. Then followed that with the Live Promo from Indianapolis and tie it up with 1+1+1=3 teaser from NPGMC and I have my preview of the upcoming live cd set. Its kept me going the last few months.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I really dig "Habibi" BECAUSE it sounds like Jimi Hendrix. I love the guitar in that song! I can listen to that song several times in a row, because I love it so much. Habibi rocks!!

Its a great cover, if u could call it a cover.. Prince shows off some heavy playin here, and eye dig it totally, but eye always forget about this song, and its somewhat boaring after a while.. but a good song.

I never heard such a boring power trio.
Prince is a wonderful RHYTHM guitar player, and an ok soloist, and that's it, and there's nothing wrong with that,
but he 'll never be Jimi.
And he should bring back another guitar player on stage, his singing is not as good when he plays guitar at the same time.

Top flight guitar players from Clapton to Santana has praised Prince's guitar abiltiy so with you making these kind of statements is kind of weak!!! Of course I am not saying that Prince is the best guitarist like some of the members of this thinks, but he is one helluva guitarist that's for sure.
