I'm wondering about this, because there was a recent review of Diddy's new album in my local paper that said, and I quote:

"He (Diddy)'s at his best when he channels another superstar with nomenclature issues - namely, Prince - for the funky thriller "Special Feeling".

I wonder whether Prince really did help Diddy write this jam or not, or whether the person who wrote the review is confused. When I did some further investigation on this song, I did not see Prince's name mentioned at all, but an artist named Mika Lett was mentioned. I dunno, maybe Mika Lett is another pen name that Prince uses when he writes music, just like when he wrote songs under the name Joey Coco and Alexandernevermind.

Can somebody shed some light on this??

The track, 'Special Feeling' features on the album, 'Press play'. It is performed by Diddy together with Mika Lett. Some websites refer to the vocalist as 'Mike Letts'.

The song is composed by Combs together with Will Adams.

No known Prince connection.

I suspect a review like this simply means that the song referenced the style of Prince.
