I remember the first time I saw the cover in high school. I was blown away by the imagery,its like a snapshot into a 20-someting prince and his fascination with sex,religion,fashion,war,etc.... | |

I've always heard that Prince drew that - comparing it to the Gett Off, alternate Come, Exodus/singles and NPGMC sketches, I'd say they're all the same person. |

My fave is the lion's head and the lion's mane that makes up the "p" in Prince. And then right next to that, the head of a unicorn that makes up the "r" in Prince. And then of course, u can't miss the upside down 666 with the arrow. Again though, as I mentioned on another thread, P clearly took the artwork theme of Funkadelic's albums in the 70's. Especially from The Elecric Spanking Of War Babies. (1980) Also, the satanic vibe from Funkadelic's artwork of "Let's Take It To The Stage" (1975) with the devil hovering over an image of Linda Blair in The Exorcist.
