Any else think it's a dame shame all those great albums have GARBAGE artwork? I'm just watching a documentary on g. clinton and they were talking about the album artwork which was great and described the music.
Prince has completely horrible artwork with no thought put in it. Me personally i collect the classic great albums and think prince deserves ans should of put in more effort to create great artwork for his albums. prince, PR, for you,parade, batman, 3121, TGE, Lovesexy ALL HAVE HIDEOUS ARTWORK; only an idiot would differ. | |

seriously. and furthermore, the covers for for you, prince, parade and 3121 are actually quite cool because of their simplicity. you don't need to have a full-on pedro bell-styled cover in order to deem it "omgz sooper awesome". and obviously you're uncomfortable with the fact that prince posed nude on the lovesexy album cover. | |

Are you kidding me? All those albums have cool artwork. ... and you didn't even mention Rave and NPS...  It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Parade and Purple Rain have incredible covers. Lovesexy does too, but personally don't like it...
The rest aren't GARBAGE like you say but they aren't anything special either. | |

It is all about the music, but I see your point.
I'm a professional graphic designer with a degree and 15 years of experience, so I've seen a LOT of bad design floating around. The only albums covers that I do not think are good are: For You Chaos And Disorder - love the concept, could've been better) The Vault NPS One Nite Alone Demo - obvious stock CD photography and poor font One Nite Alone Box Musicology I love all of the album covers from the 80s. |
