WHEN WILL WE B PAID?

i love this song and i dont think its ever mentioned much by Prince fans. I love the beat, the guitar, the lyrics. Much better than "Dear Mr Man" and "Money Dont Matter 2 Night". Wouldve fit nice on "rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic" album

It's a remake of a song by The Staple Singers.

"When Will We B Paid" and "When I Lay My Hands On U" R 2 of the most underrated songs here on the org. They R timeless and powerful.

true. Never even heard of them. BTW, im 16.But i have heard the songs prince has covered like the versions of "Betcha by Golly Wow" and "I Cant Make U Love Me' which really dont compare 2 Prince's version at all cuz Prince's version is better.

He sung this song during his acoustics part of the Musicology tour,I thought it was the most beautiful song I had eveer heard. It took me 2 years to find this cd on Ebay and a lot of money, but I finally got it, it's timeless! biggrin

absolutely great song. still think it's a shame it
was not included on "The Chocolate Invasion" since
i think it would have fit perfectly on that album.
