so i was all geared up to watch purple rain... I had my comfy, movie-watching clothes on, had some popcorn made, found the remote control (no small feat in itself!) and was all ready to watch the Kid play.
Then I remembered I'd loaned out my tape.

i couldn't pay someone to watch that movie, let alone someone wanting to borrow it. My mate tried "graffiti bridge", but said it just consisted of prince being moody and switched off after 20 minutes. Cant blame him on that one. | |

Yeah, they borrow his music (my hiphop mate loves "the flow" for example), but his movies I love "graffiti bridge", if only on how it looks, but making the kid like some moody emotional teenager was not going to win the public over really was it If only Prince was funny, like in "under the cherry moon" (which has the most hidious poster) then the film cold of been both funny and "spiritual". | |
