S'up Y'all...

I was listening to the D&P album this morning and fell in love, all over again with the title track. It brings back memories of my college days when I was courting my girlfriend, at the time. I think the song, is a very underated one and one in which Rosie, really shines.

D&P is probably the album i listen to least of all, i disliked the era (91-92)generally, and i feel he's done far superior ballads both b4 and after. Each to their own eh?

Though i agree about Rosie, she was great. I wouldn't mind him bringing her back at all from time to time, she's a fine vocalist.

Yeah the Diamonds and Pearls time was really fun! I remember really liking his songs and videos at this time before I watched Purple Rain and fell in love with him. His image back then was so glamorous. I loved Diamond and Pearl and his elaborate videos and choreography.

the D & P period sucked. The Look and the Tony M Rappin ruined it 4 me. But "Diamonds and Pearls" (the Song) is a really sweet song but have 2 admit there are better ballads than this one. I say the song of the day is.....

D and P was a dissapointment from the stance of the attempt to fuse hip hop and prince's style. Jughead, just by it's inclusion in the album left a distate for the album as whole. But as always gems lace the album with strollin, and money dont matter, the lacy insatiable, and of course the smooth Diamond and Pearls song itself. I like it and would include it as a true prince ballad. So basically I agree and I like the look of the video btw.
