Lovesexy, because I liked it the first time I heard
it. But the same with 1999.

I could neva get sick of these kinda threads. Like the rst I ain't got ONE lp by the brotha I mean c'mon now,,lets get real. So here we go(In no special orda):

Parade-Read Jill Scott's review. If only they put 'An honest man'(The movie version), Mia Bocca, Alex de paris, Oldfriends4sale, Claire Fisher's strings interludes, Love or $$$ and the rest of the extended/demo versions. Now that would be the cherry of my pie, hell WORST thang being a Prince youngster fan is you don't have his old 'singles/12'inchs/b-sides/outtakes' and etc etc etc etc.

SOTT-Ya'll have just spoke 4 me.

1999-Dark, Clever, Mysterious, DeepBlueFunky, Edgy and a MASTERPIECE.

For you & Prince-I love his STYLE in those 2 lps(Straight 70's r&b/funk/soul).

The Crystal Ball/The truth-Its very GOOD lp. Hear it without bitching and I'm sure you'll LOVE it.

Took the words right out of my mouth! Hey give em back!lol
I'm an org elitist... totally unapproachable.

Hmmm...

I don't have "one" favorite. But, if you combined particular songs from the following, one could be made.

Gold
Disc One of Crystal Ball
Year one of NPGMC
Lovesexy
Grafitti Bridge
Kama Sutra
Rave into the Joy Fantastic (remix)
Diamond and Pearls

Disorder

This is not a difficult question. Sign O' The Times Is my #1 choice. Alittle bit of everything in this album. Pure Perfection. Around The World...very trippy. Black Album-fun party album. The Rainbow Children-classic & New Prince. Love Sexy-last great album of the 80's

Jon

The best in my opinion fluctuates between several. Depends on the mood. 1999 does it for me, as does the Symbol album and the Vault - a very over looked little gem.

As for the worst, well thats easier. Rave sucks. NPS sucks and Emancipation sucks... ONA sucks and TRC aint what I thought it was at first... He seems to have gone in a direction I couldnt totally feel. Im sure he will come back my way before long, Xenaphobia studio album anyone? Thats what I wanna hear more than any live set... Maybe one day...

1. SOTT - soundtrack of my senior year of high school, sigh.
2. PURPLE RAIN - TOUR DE FORCE !
3. 1999
4. ANY THING ELSE BY THE MAN!

I see that we have a lot of new fans posting.Let me give you a flashback of some of the albums you've picked, because it proves a theory of mine.

Prince Roger Nelson's albums get better with age. Many albums that people "hated" when first released are now considered classics. Symbol,Gold Experence are two such examples.
Please dont be so quick to judge the music at first listen.
