PrintableIf this is for real, it sounds like Xenophobia (the new studio album) is history. There's no way Prince is gonna release 2 completely different albums with the same title.

If your READ the press release, it is patently obvious that Prince plans (hopes) to release this box set thru a major label to stores. It says nothing about the NPGMC, so you can just go ahead and expect your other 3 cd's as promised. As for the notion of a 7 cd set? That took the form of a question in response to bootleggers. Maybe we will get one cd sent to members that will be a highlight edition of the 7-cd set. If we want to have the full 7-cd set, we have to buy it through retail. I don't know what's going on anymore, it's all just too confusing! | |

What we get is not really a gripe with me. I mean, afterall, if the content of music that we get this year for our membership aint up to scratch then I wont bother renewing. Simple.
My gripe does come from the fact that getting simple, to the point information is like trying to shit with a cork up ya ass! Its a nightmare! What is wrong with being straight to the point and informative? It aint the people who work for the club that are being pedantic about it all, its Prince himself. I think he wakes up with a different idea every day and confuses everyone. Including himself! We all know Prince releases something into the stores every year. So this year seems to be a live CD set. Great! We also know that he still owes club members three more CDs. It sounds pretty straight forward really. All I ask is that NPGMC are clear and consise about what is going on. Theres bound to be anger, and even panic, when a three CD set is announced for general release when coincidently club members are still short of three CDs. SORT IT OUT PRINCE! PLEASE!!! | |
